the regina
The Regina was a Canada steamship line out of Montrael that went down in the
worst storm of November 7th through 10th 1913 off the coast of Port Sanilac Michigan.
This was painted for a friend of mine in Port Sanilac who loves history
I think that the storm coming off the right side is an omen
I wound up painting two of these because the first one was too big and when I
went to put the mast in it would go out of the canvass , the first one went to Harold
Cummings since he had dove on that ship and really wanted that painting
