Memphis police station

while I was painting the library our police chief asked if I would paint something on the police station it took 2 years to finish and it was a rendition of Memphis is of Memphis 1906 as researched through the historical society, there is a 2006 police car that appears to be coming off the building I saw this type of illusion in a painting on a mural in south east Ohio . it worked well. this Mural was up for a couple of years until graffiti was painted on it , the present police chief who a year earlier was an intern and did not like the mural wanted it gone because “ police stations should be brown , I told her that I would repair it the next day when the temperature reached 60 , I went there as the temperature reached 60 and she was out there with a roller painting a light shade of brown, she got her wish.
