this mural was finished in the fall of 2018 and is to be mounted in downtown Memphis in 2019
it is on wood MDO plywood made with acrylic resin, the paint used was enamal.
the reason that the picture here is fragmented is because the mural was painted in my garage that has 7 ft ceilings and the mural is 8 ft tall and is leaning on an angle , in the garage there is no room to get back far enough to get a picture.
Thomas Clegg built the first self propelled passenger carrying vehicle in Michigan in 1886 while he was 20 years old. The shop , foundry and house were located east of Memphis Mi. at the north east corner of Bordman and cedar . the foundry shop and part of the house were burnt in a fire.
there is a historical marker at the site.
